InterContinental Hotels Group has added Shanghai Airlines and Hainan Airlines as Priority Club Rewards' newest airline partners.

The company said that Priority Club Rewards is its guest loyalty programme and its partnership with Shanghai Airlines and Hainan Airlines comes at the beginning of what is expected to be a major period of growth in China's travel and tourism market. This market is projected to more than triple to USD300bn by 2014, according to the World Travel and Tourism Council.

The group said that to celebrate the addition of the airlines to its loyalty programme, Priority Club Rewards members can earn triple miles on Flying Crane, Shanghai Airlines' loyalty programme, and Fortune Wings Club, Hainan Airlines' loyalty programme, through to 16 December.
